MINISTRIES

TRUSTEE MINISTRY

The Trustee Ministry is mandated by state law for incorporated churches. Trustees serve as legal officers of the church.  

At New Covenant Baptist Church, there are many opportunities to serve your church.  We are blessed to have a variety of ministries that operate collectively to serve our church family, our surrounding community, and the KINGDOM at large.  While most of the ministries are open to any member, there are some ministries that require the appointment of the Pastor before a member can serve on that particular ministry.  Take a moment to learn more about some of the other ministries at New Covenant Baptist Church:

USHERS MINISTRY

Ushers Ministry assists members and visitors during worship services, controls the traffic flow in the sanctuary, and provides support to the Pastor, Deacons, and Trustees during service. Ushers set the tone by engaging with members and visitors in Christ-like manner.

DIACONATE MINISTRY

Diaconate Ministry are helpers of the people and servants of God who assist the Pastor in fulfilling the vision of the church.

ICHTHYS EVANGELISTIC & OUTREACH

Ichthys Evangelistic and Outreach Ministry is a beyond the walls ministry that assists parishioners and children of God with their spiritual, physical, and financial needs.  The fish is a symbol of Christianity and this ministry’s goal is to mirror Jesus Christ as fishers of men.  This ministry hosts community-wide evangelistic events, partners with churches and organizations to meet the needs of God’s people, and organizes in-reach evangelistic efforts. 

KINGDOM WORSHIPPERS DANCE MINISTRY

Kingdom Worshippers Dance Ministry is a praise and worship ministry that shares the gospel through dance.

HEALTH & WELLNESS MINISTRY

Health and Wellness Ministry is designed to aid in the enhancement of parishioners’ quality of life.  This ministry’s goal is to ensure parishioners enjoy a life of wellness in all dimensions. This ministry includes nurses and other health professionals who are skilled in prevention, intervention, education, and advocacy.

BREATHE OF GOD CHOIR

Breath of God Choir worship and praise God through song. This ministry serves as the psalmists of the church. Through song, the choir spreads the gospel of Jesus Christ to the body of Christ and to all God’s children.

MEN'S MINISTRY

Men’s Ministry offers encouragement and opportunities for men to become disciples of Christ through fellowship, prayer, studying the holy word, and worship.

MUSIC MINISTRY

The Music Ministry shares the gospel of Jesus Christ through song and musical expression. Instrumentalists include keys, bass, drums, and horns. 

Security Guard
I.T. & MEDIA MINISTRY

The I.T./Media Ministry serves to create a high-quality media and audio experience for worshippers. This ministry’s goal is to ensure the gospel of Jesus Christ is spread everywhere. 

GREATER THAN RUBIES

Greater Than Rubies Women Ministry encourages women to discover their value as daughters of Zion. This ministry’s goal is to ensure women understand their value comes from Jesus Christ, not a title or their status in society. This ministry offers encouragement and opportunities for women to become disciples of Christ through fellowship, prayer, studying the holy word, and worship. 

Three Generations
YOUTH MINISTRY

The Youth Ministry includes young people of all ages whose aim is to become disciples of Christ. This ministry meets for bible study, hosts community-wide evangelistic events, and enjoys ministry trips.

SECURITY MINISTRY

The Security Ministry is stationed on the grounds of the church. This ministry controls the flow of traffic on the grounds, assists with special parking, and ensures the safety and security of all parishioners.
